Custom CNC Machining Services

Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining is an effective way to solve the problems of varied parts, small lot sizes, complex shapes, high accuracy, etc. and to achieve efficient and automated machining.Sinph is committed to producing high quality machined parts that meet your requirements, and has a wide range of CNC machining services for you to choose from. Custom online CNC machining services including 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC milling, turning, grinding, EDM and more. We always send CNC machining services for rapid prototyping and production parts in metal or plastic.

CNC Machining Processes

CNC Milling

CNC milling is performed by a multi-axis machine managed by computer software and involves the use of different axis milling processes to cut solid plastic and metal materials into final precision parts.

Our CNC milling process is compatible with a wide range of raw materials. We use brass, stainless steel, hard plastics, titanium and aluminum.

CNC Turning

In CNC turning, a CNC machine (usually a lathe or turning machine) feeds the cutting tool in a linear motion along the surface of a rotating workpiece, removing the circumference until the desired diameter is achieved.

We use high quality, high speed turning centres equipped with real time tooling and automatic bar feeders. Materials used in the turning process include aluminium, brass, hard plastics and mild or stainless steel.

General tolerances for CNC machining CNC

In CNC machining, we endeavour to achieve and maintain the tolerances listed below, but tolerances will vary depending on the primary manufacturing method you choose. Tolerances can also be greatly affected by the geometry and material type of the part. Please contact us for specific tolerance details for different parts.

Type

Tolerance

Linear dimension

+/- 0.025 mm             +/- 0.001 inch

Hole diameters (not reamed)

+/- 0.025 mm              +/- 0.001 inch

Shaft diameters

+/- 0.025 mm              +/- 0.001 inch

Part size limit

950 * 550 * 480 mm       37.0 * 21.5 * 18.5 inch

Features of CNC Machining

l Advantages

Quick and repeatable removal of large quantities of metal material.

Accurate high-precision tolerance ranges.

Wide range of materials.

Expanded throughput possible.

Customised surface finishes possible.

Cost savings

l Disadvantages

Structural limitations interlocking and skeletonised structures are difficult to CNC machine.

Unit cost and lead time will not be reduced like injection moulded parts.
